While I truly believe that it really shouldn't be the case that we need to single out the few places that actually have well designed bike lanes - I'm also a realist and want to applaud these efforts where they do exist.
Bike lanes are really the only feasible option to get more people on bikes until the general attitude improves and people don't feel like they're taking their lives int heir hands whenever they head out on a bike.
Are there any good examples of cycling infrastructure that really works near you?
Or is it more like a few metres of green paint that makes you wish for more?
