Well they never said that the tour was straightforward but with the amount of crashes this year, you can see how superstitions start. 

Froome has gone better than the other yellow jersey wearers so far, but it's early days yet.

Maybe the good weather has lulled the peloton into a false sense of security so the riders have been taking more risks. Or maybe they're just trying a bit too hard to get their man to the line first.

The TTT tomorrow looks like it'll sort the wheat from the chaff, let's hope they all keep the rubber side down.
